One of the most popular runs is undoubtedly the Bimbi al Sole run, which is 7.2 km long.
In addition, the runs on the Stelvio glacier allow visitors to ski and snowboard in summer as well, at the bottom of Cima degli Spiriti, a 3456-metre-high peak.

What is ski mountaineering? In a nutshell, it is the combination of two exciting disciplines for mountain lovers: skiing and mountaineering (hiking), involving big dropoffs and sometimes very steep slopes.
Near the Stella Alpina ski run, Bormio also features the Hang Five Snowpark, a safe, enclosed area where snowboarding and freestyling can be practised.
